By modelling supply chain work using data collected from tags on the workers, the ProcSim company and the CSEM developed a toolkit to reconcile comfort and profitability. The technique which consists to capture movements of a human to reproduce them on a screen is not new in itself (it is notably used in animation movies), but it being used for the first time in Switzerland in industry.

The ProcSim company, based at the EPFL, and the Swiss Center for Electronics and Microtechnology (CSEM) of Neuchâtel developed a little kit of measures, at the request of Nestlé, designed to improve the work conditions in a supply chain.
